Spanish press reports sparked surprise after he revealed the winner of the International Federation of Football "FIFA" for the best player in the world for 2016, in a ceremony which will be held in the Swiss city of Zurich on 9 January of the new year.
The newspaper "El Mundo Deportivo" she said in an exclusive report through its web page that the Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo will be the winner of the FIFA award for best player in the world for 2016, beating Lionel Messi and Antoine Jerizman.
The newspaper pointed out in its report that Lionel Messi will be second behind Cristiano Ronaldo in the award, while Antoine Jerizman has finished third and a far cry from the bilateral, knowing that the vote on the award ended on 22 November.
The newspaper said that the FIFA award characterized freely vote each (captains, technicians, journalists and fans) something that was in the interest of Lionel Messi, but Cristiano win the Champions League and the euro had a major role in winning the prize.
The same newspaper had revealed Cristiano Ronaldo won the Golden Ball award for the fourth time in its history by officially announced by France Football magazine, while FIFA would award is the second to Cristiano after he won in 2008.
