European clubs (ECA) have concurred with UEFA to cover making a shut Super Class.
ECA president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge met with delegates of the part clubs on Tuesday.
"I think we completely concur with the change of the Champions Class and the Europa Group in the 2018-2021 cycle," he said after a talk in Athens with Giorgio Marchetti, chief of UEFA rivalries.
"It's beneficial for us, we are glad to stay under the umbrella of UEFA, so there will be no discussions on the Super Group.
"This will make the Champions Class more appealing and more grounded than any time in recent memory.
"Marchetti rejected the possibility of an European Super Class with 20 clubs - a repeating topic since the mid 2000s, sponsored by such significant clubs as Bayern Munich - perceiving that the configuration of the Champions Alliance could develop.
