Well known for his fitness obsession, Cristiano Ronaldo surprised many on Saturday by
completing his recovery session from his knee injury while wearing a
long-sleeved hoodie, despite the intense Spanish sun weighing down on the
Portuguese star.
Ronaldo's particular training methods are well documented and
he'll do anything, however drastic, to make sure he recovers to full fitness as
soon as possible.
In this case, the hoodie was meant to make the player work up a
sweat and reduce his body fat even further, so as to minimise any pressure on
his knees by having a leaner lower body.
It is also a way to decrease the likelihood of an injury
relapse.
