Sampaoli says it's a lie that there was a problem with Messi
Argentina play Venezuela in a World Cup qualifier this week
Argentina coach Jorge Sampaoli denied reports which suggested he'd had an argument with Lionel Messi while the Barcelona star is with his country on international duty. In the pre-game news conference ofr Argentina's game against Venezulea, Sampaoli was asked about the rumours.
"These sort of remarks influence me to feel terrible, it's a lie," he said.
"You're getting some information about talk and you need to inquire as to whether something is genuine, yet I need to clear up all bits of gossip.
