- The Barcelona manager knows what it's like to face Messi
- The Argentine scored twice in Barça's 3-0 win over Juventus
Barcelona mentor Ernesto Valverde couldn't shroud his fulfillment under the most favorable conditions player on the planet in his squad.
"With Lionel Messi, when he has the ball you generally trust that anything can happen - great things for us," he said after the Argentine's support in Tuesday's 3-0 prevail upon Juventus.
"It's not just about his objectives, either, but rather his inside and out contribution. I have endured against Messi commonly, now I am sufficiently fortunate to have him on my group.
Messi has now scored eight objectives this season, with seven coming in his last three appearances.
Under Valverde he is playing in a more focal part, despite the fact that the previous Athletic Bilbao mentor says strategies have little to do with Messi's brightness.
"You can place Messi in any position and he can score objectives," he included Valverde.
"His quality is dependably the same wherever he is. It doesn't make a difference if he's on the wing or in the center, he's constantly associated with the play."
