Barcelona clarify that Messi has discomfort,
not injury
An official statement from the Catalan club went a bit further into detail on
the extent of Lionel
Messi's pain in the adductor muscles of his hip, a
discomfort that isn't enough to be considered an injury.
The physios are hard at work to keep the
inflammation at a minimum, but it looks as though the Argentine won't be back
in time for Saturday's clash against Deportivo Alaves at the Camp Nou.
That said, he is expected to be available for
the following Tuesday's Champions League match against Celtic unless further
complications.
