Barcelona announce deal with City for Bravo

Technical secretary Robert Fernandez confirms Chilean's departure

After a 6-2 victory over Betis to start Barcelona's LaLiga campaign, technical secretary Robert Fernandez admitted that Claudio Bravo is in fact leaving the Catalan club, with an initial agreement with Manchester City for the keeper already finalised.

Coach Luis Enrique did not comment further on the matter, waiting instead for the club's official line, which was given on Saturday night after the match.
"We have an initial agreement with Manchester City for Claudio Bravo, but before we let him go, we must sign a keeper to take his place," Fernandez said.

"They [Manchester City] made an offer and after some consideration, we came to the conclusion that we should accept it."
