No plans regarding Colombian's departure before transfer deadline

Zidane: James is going to stay

Following a summer of uncertainty surrounding his future, Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that James Rodriguez will now be staying with Real Madrid.

The Colombian made a substitute appearance during the European champions' 2-1 win over Celta Vigo, replacing Luka Modric midway through the second half.
"I've seen good things from James and, as you say, yes he will be [staying]," Zidane told reporters.
Reflecting on his side's first victory at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Los Blancos' coach was pleased with the impact his substitutions had on the game.
"I wanted us to believe until the end and we accomplished that," he added.

"The changes we made served to add something extra."
