First official goal since return tol Real
Madrid
With Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema still out through injury, Alvaro Morata was given another chance to shine for Real Madrid against Celta Vigo, and his first goal for the club since his return from Juventus will have taken a weight from his shoulders.
His manic celebration saw a release of pent
up anger that had no doubt festered after he'd drawn a blank at Real Sociedad
during the previous week.
The Spanish international worked hard and had
another good game, Zinedine Zidane satisfied with the application shown by his
striker.
Morata's goal clearly delighted the Frenchman
who beamed with pride as the youngster went off to celebrate the strike.
Toni Kroos' excellent strike late in the
match was crucial, coming not long after Celta had equalised, and from outside
the box it was a goal worthy of winning any game, as it did in this one.
Morata was replaced with 15 minutes
remaining, as he had been in San Sebastian, after putting in an enormous
effort.
