The president of FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu, attended the meeting which discussed,
among other issues, the new format of the Champions fututro
The president of FC Barcelona, Josep
Maria Bartomeu, has participated in the meeting of the Executive Committee of
the ECA, the European Football Clubs Association, which was held today in
Monaco.
This
meeting, the first of this season, has been a top agenda the study of the new
competition format for the 2018-21 triennium.
During
the meeting also they dealt with various issues affecting the relationship
between the association of European clubs with international football
organizations, such as FIFA and UEFA.
Josep
Maria Bartomeu is part of the Executive Committee of the ECA since May 2014,
when he was appointed member of the Professional Strategic Committee Football
Championship, a position that entails participate in the highest executive body
of the Association of Clubs.
