Striker looking to boost confidence
The first visitors to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu
this Saturday are Celta Vigo but,
frankly, Alvaro Morata won't mind who it is just so long as he scores.
The Spaniard returned to Real Madrid from Juventus this
summer as Zinedine Zidane was more than happy to have someone with his goalscoring
prowess in the team.
He has yet to score in their three competitive games to
date, however, and will need to up his performance if he wants to continue in
the starting lineup when Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo return from
injury.
Zidane insists he is "happy" with Morata thus
far, adding that he is "physically good."
His lack of goals is not for want of trying and against
Real Sociedad he showed great speed and good physical presence as he troubled
the defence throughout the match - all he lacked was a goal.
The striker will be hoping to change that against a
Galician team who lost their first league game 1-0 against newly promoted side
Leganes.
