Casemiro subject to interest from abroad
lncoming transfers have been somewhat on the back burner at Real Madrid this summer, but Los Blancos have found themselves having to fend off interest in midfielder Casemiro.
Last season, the Brazilian became a vital part of Zinedine Zidane's side after returning from FC Porto, but clubs have been monitoring his progress.
It is understood that two teams, in England and Italy, are willing to pay as much as 50 million euros to sign Casemiro, but Los Blancos have already tied him down to a five-year contract in a bid to fend off possible suitors.
Impressive performances in key games last year, notably the Clasico victory over Barcelona at the Camp Nou in April, have impressed officials at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu enough for the club to hold back on signing a new central midfielder this summer.
Supposed interest in French trio Paul Pogba, who joined Manchester United in a world record deal, N'Golo Kante, who swapped Leicester City for Chelsea, and the reportedly Inter-bound Moussa Sissoko was never followed up due to the status Casemiro has earned himself in the squad.
