Diego Armando Maradona thinks Lionel Messi will say no to new Argentina manager Edgardo Bauza's project.

The Barcelona No 10 retired from international football after the Copa America final defeat on penalties by Chile.

Maradona said: "I think Messi will say no to Bauza. It's a thought of mine. Maybe I'll be mistaken." 

He also agreed with Messi's discontent with the AFA. "What Messi exposed has always happened," he said. "How can the families of the directors be more comfortable than those of the players?"
