- The Asturian coach claims he had already decided which goalkeeper would play against Sevilla - now it will be Bravo
Luis Enrique decision has been made for him. Marc-Andre ter Stegen has sprained a ligament in his left knee and will miss the Spanish Super Cup clash with Sevilla on Sunday night.
The coach had to choose between him and Claudio Bravo and claimed he had already made his mind up, but the injury has resolved the issue.
Now the Chilean stopper is set to start the game, with Ter Stegen unavailable.
Barcelona released a statement reading: "Marc Andre Ter Stegen sprained a ligament in his left knee during the Thursday morning training session following the 3-2 defeat of Sampdoria.
"This means that he will be unable to play in the Spanish Super Cup first leg in Seville this coming Sunday. The German goalkeeper’s availability beyond that will depend on how his injury progresses."
