- No need for further reinforcements
Barcelona prepare for their traditional curtain raiser to the season, the Joan Gamper trophy, Blaugrana boss Luis Enrique doesn't believe that needing a fourth striker can take away from the strength of his current squad.
The Asturian is under the impression that he is heading into the approaching campaign with the best tools for success that he has ever had at his disposal during his three-year stint in Catalonia.
"It would be ridiculous to pass up the opportunity to strengthen if you have a good chance," Enrique admitted during a press conference.
"But I consider this to be the best squad that I have had during my time here.
"When the market is open to make transfers, we have to be open to improving, but if not, we will go with what we have.
"It is a squad with the luxury of real talent," he concluded.
