Real Madrid and Sevilla start new season with fresh faces

UEFA Super CupThe curtain raiser for La Liga

fter two months holiday followed by preseason training, Real Madrid and Sevilla are ready to kick-start this season's campaign in the UEFA Super Cup with many new faces in their starting line-ups.
When they walk out on to the pitch in Trondheim on Tuesday, spectators will see big differences between the teams which claimed victory in the Champions League and Europa League just a few months ago.
Zinedine Zidane, who is facing his second final in just eight months in charge of Los Blancos, will start with a very different side to that in Milan for various reasons - injuries, holidays, key players just returning to training.
His biggest problem is that the powerful BBC trident is not available.
Cristiano Ronaldo has an injured knee, Gareth Bale has only just reported for preseason duty and it will be difficult to play Karim Benzema because of injury.
For that reason Alvaro Morata, James Rodriguez, Isco and Lucas Vazquez will be in charge of the attack.
Nor can the winners of 11 European titles rely on Pepe, who has not returned from holiday, or Toni Kroos, who has barely had time to train with the team.
Their final change will be in goal with Kiko Casilla replacing Keylor Navas.
Los Rojiblancos' changes start at the top with Jorge Sampaoli replacing Unai Emery.
As many as seven new faces could play their part on Tuesday compared to those who helped them to Europa League victory.
The first is in goal with Sergio Rico between the posts instead of David Soria and in defence, Nico Pareja will replace Adil Rami.
Midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak was in the starting XI on May 19 but left this summer for Paris Saint-Germain, so Franco Vazquez and Matias Kranevitter will accompany Steven N'Zonzi.
Against Liverpool Ever Banega, Coke, Kevin Gameiro and Vitolo led the attack but the first three have left and the fourth will start on the bench.
Two new signings, Luciano Vietto and Pablo Sarabia, along with Yevhen Konoplyanka will be looking to beat Casilla to win the trophy.
