wansea City look set to add their second Spanish striker of the transfer window, with Atletico Madrid's Borja Baston ready to join ex-Sevilla and Athletic Club man Fernando Llorente in Wales.
After starring for Eibar last season, Baston has been unable to wriggle his way into the first-team picture at the Estadio Vicente Calderon and did not train with Atletico on Tuesday due to a medical appointment regarding his recovery from injury.
He travelled to the FREMAP clinic in Majadahonda in order to check on a fracture which the striker picked up in his forearm during Atletico's pre-season preparations in Los Angeles.
With the permission of his club and with his medical report in hand, Baston will be allowed to fly to Wales to tie up negotiations with his new team, waving goodbye to Atletico as soon as he can in order to play in the Premier League.
