- Post-Euro 2016 holiday over for Player of the Tournament
Antoine Griezmann took part in Atletico Madrid's Monday training session, his first since returning from his extended break after reaching the Euro 2016 final.
The French forward was in high spirits, seen joking with the squad, completing both the 40 minute fitness session under Oscar 'Profe' Ortega and the technical and tactical exercises with Diego Simeone.
Simeone divided his squad into two teams, one working on technical drills while the other completed time-trial cardio work.
Javier Manquillo returned to training but recent signing Kevin Gameiro still has not joined his teammates due to a left thigh injury which has kept him recovering separately.
